I think this is my husband’s favorite. When I first heard the song after many years, I didn’t realize I'd heard it before until the chorus, when I couldn’t stop singing. Just ignore the verses. 3:04.

I didn't think it was a true key change but I played along on guitar.  It gets funky before the change and I was confused but at 1:51 it officially plays the same chord progression a whole step higher than the first verse.  
This groovy example of all that is rock and roll moves from D to E at 1:51.
