This is a great twist on the over-used key change on the last chorus (see www.gearchange.org). The first key change hits right after the first chorus of the lead in. At the second chorus, the expectation is set for another change, but surprise, there is none. This removes the expectation for another key change on the third chorus, but, surprise again, there is indeed a key change before the final chorus. A Cheap Trick indeed.
